BEDROOMS at CHARITY VILLAS :

Each bedroom is designed for a calm relaxing atmosphere and features the following: King or Queen sized bed,  lighting, spacious fitted wardrobe in selected units, bedding, and many more

The kitchen is equipped with basic appliances you would imagine, these include but are not limited to the following: microwave, fridge, hob with oven, electric jug for tea and coffee making, sandwich maker, crockery and cutlery, linens, and so on.

Living rooms have been designed to give you that extra place to feel at home while at the same time allowing you to encompass a lifestyle of comfortable . 

ROOMS

SINGLE ROOMS
At Charity Villas we have one single room intricately designed giving enough room for movement.

The beds, though being single beds, are quite big and have comfortable heavy-duty mattresses. Beddings include a pair of bed sheet and a cozy pillow with a pillowcase.

DOUBLE ROOMS

The Hostel has two types of double rooms. We have twin bedroom and king-size bedroom in this category.

All rooms have enough bedding to keep you warm throughout the night.

DORMITORY

At Charity Villas we have two dormitories which consist of spacious beds in the large room.

Charity Villas

consists of 4 beds  room in the same house compound houses with the same shared room but not all toilet and bathroom are shared.

Charity Villas offers 4 colorful rooms with double-deckers beds in it, accommodating up to 10 people – two double rooms with 1 -double beds and twin beds. dorm room with 2 – beds each and shared bathroom facilities including hot showers. All beds have mosquito nets, comfortable mattresses, blankets, and a pillow. Guests also have access to a secure locker for passports and money. We provide 24-hour showers and there is no curfew.

Room rates

Dormitory Room –  with 2 double duckers  (shared bathroom and toilet) – US$5 per person per night plus VAT.
Double Room  US$8 per person per night plus VAT.

Single Room – US$10usd per person

Transport and transfer rates

Transportation from Kilimanjaro airport – US 40$ per person and 70$ for couple
Transportation from Arusha airport – US$20 per person and 30 for couple
Transportation from the Arusha bus station/shuttle is free, we will pick you up anywhere from town for free.

Over 30 nights Price is $8usd or Tshs 20,500/= per person per night, all given price includes Bed, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

All notification of cancellation must be made in writing to Travel for charity Hostel through this email, info@travelforcharitytanzania.org ,  ; If the cancellation is received within 7-days prior to arrival then all payments will be refunded less USD 20 cancellation fee, and costs associated with it.

MEALS

Kitchen guests have access to the main kitchen which is equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave and gas cooker.  coffee and tea is available at any time And if you want to buy groceries, there is a refrigerator and shelves where you can store your purchases.

​At Charity Villas volunteers are allowed to participate in cooking preparation, Our daily meals is local food but also feel free to contact us if you are veg. You can also choose from tea, coffee, bread, margarine, honey, peanut butter, jam, fruit and vegetables.

Lunch and Dinner is given and our cook creates delicious dishes from Tanzanian and Western cuisine. We always have vegetarian/vegan options, and we can cater for all dietary restrictions and requirements.

Additional Services

At Charity Villas we do our best to provide you with a stable connection and enough bandwidth.

Book shelf a quiet corner of the house for reading and relaxing, with books, magazines, and comfortable chairs.

Luggage Storage we offer free luggage storage while on a safari or climbing a mountain.

Safe Boxes can be secured with a padlock for guests to store valuable items.

Laundry washing is available for guests at 15.000 TSH per load. We provide free washing powder and there is a washing line to hang your clothes.

CONTENTS OF THE Charity Villas

Charity Villas is fully furnished to a nice standard. The kitchens is fully equipped with all cutlery and crockery, bedding and towels, fully equipped kitchen with kettle, cooker, fridge, TV and Internet

A full inventory of all equipment is provided. No items are to be removed from the Hostel during your stay. The property and all equipment must be left free of damage at the end of rental period. Except in the case of normal wear and tear the hirer will be responsible for making good the apartment or its contents which has occurred due to negligence, willful damage or irresponsible behavior on the part of those occupying the apartment or their guests. Any damage must be reported without delay, to our Hostel, The cost of repair or replacement must be agreed with and paid to Charity Villas.

If any damage or replacement is required, tenant shall be liable to pay a minimum of USD 35 for each item. Any disputes with the contents in the inventory checklist have to be raised within 12 hours from the date of arrival otherwise is implicitly assumed that you have agreed to the contents of the inventory and the conditions of the items.

We request that 45-minutes before your departure, to notify one of the Travel for charity Hostel, staff who can finalize formalities of inventory checks.

BOOKING AND PAYMENTS

All bookings applications and any payment accepted by Travel for charity Hostel are subject to these terms and conditions of occupancy which are considered to have been accepted in full by the hirer and all persons in the party.

All prices are quoted in US dollars, however the payment can be done in TSHS but it must be equivalent

A deposit of USD 100 is required with signed booking form for people who are staying for more than 20 days.

Booking is only confirmed upon receipt of your deposit. Written confirmation and receipt for the deposit will be sent to you via e-mail.

The following method of payments are accepted

PAYMENTS:

All payments have to be made in ADVANCE at our Hostel office.

CANCELLATION:

All notification of cancellation must be made in writing to Travel for charity Hostel, through this email, hostel@travelforcharityhostel.org ; If the cancellation is received within 7-days prior to arrival then all payments will be refunded less USD 20 cancellation fee and costs associated with it.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURES

Check-in time is from 10.30 A.M. while check-out time is between 10.30 AM any variation to these times can be made with prior permission from management. Any checkouts not authorized by management and after checkout time, the client shall be charged for that full day.

CLEANING SERVICES

Cleaning services are ONLY available between 8.00 AM and 12.00 P.M every day. They include maid services every day. All linen and towels are included and changed once a week.

COMPLAINTS:

Any complaints about the Travel for charity Hostel or their contents must be reported on-site and recorded accordingly. Failure to do so, we will not be held responsible in any way. Following that, any dissatisfaction arising with the handling and resolving of the complaint on-site must be received by us in writing not later than 7 days after the client’s departure. Failure to do so will result in the hotel taking no responsibility or action.

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY:

Charity Villas cannot be held responsible in any way for theft, loss, or damage to any personal belongings at the Hostel location. Nor can we be held liable for acts of defaults caused by third parties. Also, we are not responsible for compensation for any losses to the stores/goods during or after your stay. Nevertheless, we shall not be held responsible for personal injury or any other form of disability or inconvenience and financial responsibility shall be that of the client alone. You are advised to ensure that your own insurance policies cover loss or damage to personal property during your stay. You are advised to take out adequate travel and personal insurance.

PERSONAL INSURANCE:

The Charity Villas hire cost does not include any personal insurance cover. It is recommended that the clients have their own insurance against personal accidents and illness.

RESPONSIBILITY:

We will not accept responsibility or be liable for inconveniences or financial implications of any sort arising from any incident on the premises during your stay. This includes any lack of service not available due to areas out of the hotels’ control like water shortage, power cuts, weather conditions, and all others.

LOST PROPERTY:

Any items left in the Hostel will be kept for 3 months after the departure date

NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS:

The number of people permitted to occupy each room is 2–4people of the same sex in a room. It may however be possible for a child below age 12 to share a bed with the parent. Please contact us to discuss it.

PETS:

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at Travel for charity Hostel,

SECURITY:

The premise is very secure and is guarded .

COMPLAINTS:
